For those of you who do not know me, my name is Sara Frailey. I have been involved in pageantry since the age of 4 and started working with the studio at the age of eight. I have since been competing and working in affiliation with the studio for the past 18 years. Over the years I have accumulated several state, regional and national titles such as International Total Miss Beauty winner, Dixieland Grand Novice, Glamour Dolls Grand Novice, Glamour Girls Grand Supreme and numerous overall Model titles. One of my dreams as a young girl was to someday become Miss USA. In pursuance of this dream I have recently been a contestant in the Miss Pennsylvania USA system where I proudly was a part of the top twelve. Since making Georgia my new home, I will be training for the years to come in hopes of one day becoming Miss Georgia USA.
I have most recently become a resident of Atlanta Georgia where I am attending Georgia State University. Majoring in International Business with a minor in Communications, I hope to run my own company specializing in international market sales and publicity.
Outside of pageants, besides being a full time student, I enjoy anything and everything that keeps me outside. Riding my mountain bike with my boyfriend, skiing, jogging, rock climbing and throwing Frisbee are just a few of my many activities, but who does not enjoy lounging around the pool and occasionally swimming. I have studied all types of dance for the past 18 years and am constantly looking for new ways to challenge myself physically and mentally. I almost always have a book to read with me, particularly Nicholas Sparks, he is my favorite.
Pageants are such a positive side of my life. Not only the friends that I have made throughout the years, but the confidence I have obtained from being on stage. This confidence carries over into every aspect of my life; from job interviews to class presentations, even when walking into a room at a restaurant people take notice of the poise and confidence you exude. I only hope that I can be a positive voice in a childs life, like Ms. Donna was to me. I enjoy working with your children, seeing a smile on their face brings a smile to mine.
One quote that stays in the back of my mind is, Shoot for the moon, and if you miss, you will always be amongst the stars.
