Welcome to Donna's Studio.
You have decided to take the next step and become a part of the most elite group of individually trained and choreographed children and teens in the pageant industry. Please take this time to read our studio's policies. If you have any questions, please do not hestitate to contact me.
Our phone numbers and email are monitored 24 hours a day. You will be required to keep the office updated of changes in your mailing address, phone numbers, and email address. You must contact the coordinator in your area and the Studio with these changes when they arise.
The following Student Policy is for all current students of Donna's Studio.
Effective: Immediately.
Due to a large number of new students, no class will be booked without a full advanced deposit.
Out of town locations:
Individual classes are $100/hr plus expenses.
Expenses for out of town students are monies to cover plane ticket, lodging, conference room, and travel to and from the airport. Pageant classes are $120.00/hr and this includes expenses for Donna, Brandi, and Sara. Student coaches are $75.00/hr.
Home Locations:
Individual classes are $60.00/hr. There are no expenses.
Student coaches are $50.00/hr.
Payment and Absences
1. All classes are paid in advance. Payments can be in the form of cash, post-dated check or through paypal. Payments through paypal are subject to an additional 4% surcharge that must be added to the payment. Before you leave class, you are required to leave a post dated check for the following month's class if booked; and, the expense fee in cash. A $50.00 service charge will be imposed on all returned checks. This service charge and returned check amount must be cleared up before your next appointment.
2. You are responsible for payment of class once it is booked. If you are unable to make a class, contact your coordinator as soon as possible. If she is unable to fill your class time, you are still responsible for the payment of your class plus expenses. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.
3. All monies for class are NONREFUNDABLE and NONTRANSFERABLE.
4. In the event of an unforseen cancellation by the studio, your monies will be carried over to the next scheduled class.
5. It is imperative that a student arrives on time for their classes; and, leave when their class is over. At all locations, Donna and her coaches have a tight schedule.
CODE OF ETHICS
We would like to present an image of excellence within the Studio. To help to insure that we are a step above the rest. Here is a list of rules that we encourage our students and their parents to abide by:
1. Students and parents are to display good sportsmanship like conduct in public and at all pageant related functions. Remember, we are a team and every student and their parents' behavior is a direct reflection on the character of Donna's Studio. For this reason, unsportsmanship like conduct from students or parents will result in dismissal from the Studio.
2. While a member of the Studio, students may not take classes from other coaches.
3. While a member of the Studio, neither student or their parent(s) may coach other students unless special arrangements have been made by Donna Butts.
4. Please refrain from taking part in gossip.
5. Please refrain from contributing to remarks on bash boards.
6. Any breech of Studio policies may result in dismissal from Donna's Studio.
